Anoka-Ramsey Community College freshman Montez Wilkerson was named the MCAC Southern Division Player of the Week for his performances in two Golden Ram victories last week.
This is the second time this season that Wilkerson has earned the award.
In wins over Quakerdale Prep and Fox Valley Technical College, Wilkerson averaged 20.5 points and 6.5 rebounds.
He shot 50% from the field (14-28), and 42% (8-19) from the three-point line.
Currently, Wilkerson ranks sixth in the nation in scoring at 24.8 points per game and leads the entire Minnesota College Athletic Conference in scoring.
Wilkerson also earned the award for his performance in the Golden Rams first two victories of the season November 9-10.
Anoka-Ramsey is 4-0 on the season. The Golden Rams travel to Brainerd, MN to take on Central Lakes College this Friday, then head to Cloquet, MN to face Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College on Saturday.
